Buyeo-gun is located in the south of Chungcheongnam-do, Korea. It is adjacent to Nonsan-si to the east, Boryeong-si and Seocheon-gun to the west, Cheongyang-gun and Gongju-si to the north and Iksan-si, Jeollabuk-do to the south.
Geumgang river flows from the northeast to the southern west, creating a fertile alluvial plain. Buyeo is cultural tourist attraction with relics and sites of Baekje and beautiful natural scenery. The name of Buyeo was Sabi in the Baekjae Period. It was the capital of Baekjae from 538 to 660 after Seong of Baekje changed the name of country to Nambuyeo(538) and moved the seat of government from Woonggin to Sabi. Baekje cultural festival is held in every October. Famous tourist attractions are Busosanseong Fortress of Buyeo and Gungnamji Pond. Baekje Cultural Heritage Complex has been created. Baekje Cultural Heritage Complex
It was built in Ilwon, Hapjeong-ri, Gyuam-myeon, Buyeo-gun to let people around the world to know the excellence of Baekje's history and culture. You can see Sabi palace, Neungsa temple, living culture village, Wiryeseong, ancient tomb park, Baekje forest and Baekje historic culture museum.

Jeongnimsa Temple Site Museum
Jeongnimsa temple was built in the middle of six century, and prosperous until the collapse of Baekje. Thereafter, it was restored in 1028. It has typical temple arrange in the Baekje period. There are five-stories stone pagoda and stone seated statue in the Goryo period in Jeongnimsa temple site. Five-story Stone Pagoda of Jeongnimsa Temple Site(No. 19 national treasure) has stood for 1,400 years in the center of Baekje's capital.

Nakhwaam Rock
A legend says it was the place where the court ladies of Baekje took a suicide to protect their chastity. According to “The Heritage of the Three States”, it has been called “Tasaam” as King Euija and royal concubines took a suicide together. Prosperity glamorized the name as “Nakhwaam rock”. Cliff is made of granite gneiss, creating 40~50 meters of bluff. It is curved again near the water surface. There is gakja named “Nakhwaam rock” written by Song Si-yeol.

Baekje Royal Tombs Park
The tombs are for kings and royal family when the capital of Baekje was Sabi(Buyeo, 538~660). Sashindo and ceiling mural are drawn in the four sides of No. 1 tomb.

Mansusan Mountain Muryangsa Temple
Muryangsa temple, which was built in the Baekje period, has a long history. It is well matched with beautiful natural landscape. Two story Geungnakjeon Hall is not common in Korea. It is a meaningful architecture that has a temple style in the middle Joseon dynasty period.

Seodongyo Theme Park
The filming site of Seodongyo has changed to theme park. It runs various experience programs. Seodongyo was the first Baekje history drama in Korea. The size and re-creation of the filming site are so impressive. Moreover, you would be touched by the love of Seodong and Princess Seonhwa of Silla.

Buyeo National Museum
It plays a pivotal role in preserving and studying cultural properties of Baekje, and operates social education activities. It has let locals to know Baekje culture, and boosted local culture. The museum has four exhibition halls, outdoor relic gallery and displays 1,000 relics.
