Guide to a Variety of Great Tastes in Goyang!

The staple food of Korea is rice, with an additional development of fermented foods like kimchi and soybean paste. Korean food is characterized by its various recipes that include boiling, roasting and steaming and which feature all kinds of ingredients such as meat, fish, vegetables and grains. The way Koreans dine is also unique; all of the dishes are served at once in a single course, and the diners share the side dishes.

In Korea, there is a saying, "What you cannot cure with food cannot be cured with medicine," indicating how good Korean food is for health.

Such features of Korean food are fully conveyed in the food of Goyang.
