Lee Jung Seob Galley
The masterpieces of Lee Jung Seob, who is one of the famous artists in Korea, are exhibited in the galley, Major works are “the fantasy of Seogwipo” and “the landscape in front of Sub island”. The art works of Park Soo Keun and Ungno Lee are displayed on the second floor.

Oedolgae Rock
A legend has been passed down. One grandmother turned into rock after her husband had not returned due to storm. You can enjoy peaceful atmosphere while taking a walk around rock erecting in the middle of the sea.

House of Chusa in Jeju
Chusa Kim Jeong-hui, who was the scholar, calligrapher and politician of the Joseon dynasty, spent his life in exile here. He completed Chusa calligraphic style, and drew many paintings including “Wandang seando”. He also taught study and calligraphy to students of Confucianism. It is small, but the best place for feeling the spirit of ancient sages.

Jeju Confucian School
Jeju confucian school, which is No.2 tangible cultural asset of Jeju island, was established for the education of local people. Now Myeongnyundang lecture hall, Daeseongjeon shrine and Gyeseongsa temple remain intact. You may find the answer of problems based on the teachings of ancient sages.

Sinyang Beach

Habitat of cactus in Wolryeong
The cactus growing on the rock near the sea is distinctive. It is often called as “palm cactus” as it looks like a hand of human. It blooms yellow flower and bears red fruit in July. It is the best place to take a walk about this time every year.
