“Daecheon Seaside Resort”, the largest seaside resort in the west coast of South Korea
Even though you may be exhausted after a visit, you'd better to swim in the summer beach! Today, I will go to the daecheon seaside resort in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do, which is the hugest seaside resort in the west coast of South Korea. The length of sandy beach is over 3.5 kilometers and the width reaches 100 meters. The beach gradually slopes away as it is on the west coast of South Korea. It is the best place to enjoy sunbathe and sea bathing, so everyone would love it.
On the back side of a sandy beach, there is a dense pine forest where is good to enjoy camping. A huge number of restaurants and accommodations gather all over the beach, so it is convenient for tourists to stay for a day or two. The local government of Boryeong boasted to make a trip culture without ripping off this year. But I was not ripped off by local restaurant owners during a overnight stay.

I am standing in the middle of the beach. It is so extensive that I can't see the end of the beach.
If you turn in the forest there, you can see the Daecheon port. You'd better enjoy sashimi and roasted shellfish there by yourself, rather than having them in a restaurant.

The width of the beach differs from the tides in Daecheon seaside resort. The tide is come in about 30 meters and got out about 100 meters in ebb tide. You can notice that it is an ebb tide from the picture. But I can't say the exact time since tide time differs from everyday. Roughly speaking, high tide is during breakfast and dinner time, and ebb tide is during midnight and noon.

The sand consists of powder of seashell, which is only in the East. My feet are not hurt since it has been ground for a long time, and the sand washes away easily.

While watching this picture, I want to rush to the sea again. While I am easily exhausted during a work time, I am tireless during an enjoying time. Is there a person whose job is just enjoying?

It is time for ebb tide, and the sea exposes its large bare skin. Daecheon seaside resort is not end even at night! Some people are walking hand in hand, and Other people are chatting about this and that drinking beer. It looks nice.

※ How to take a picture of fire work
You should install a tripod and focus the camera on the subject at first. And set the camera on manual mode, and adjust the aperture to from eight to ten. Set the shutter speed on from three to five seconds, and ISO on about from 100 to 200. Then shoot a picture by using remote control or self-timer. The brightness of a picture may be different in localities, and you should adjust the aperture and ISO, maintaining the shutter speed at least more than three seconds.

It is totally ebb tide at noon the next day. Just like the last night. Water has been got out a lot, but the beach has been more widen, which is good to have fun in the water.

Unlike Haeundae, where is full of charged parasols all around, parasols here are set in the limited area. You can run around the beach as you please.

Now, I am going to take off the camera and dive into the sea, wearing a tube at my waist. You should enjoy the summer in Daecheon seaside resort. Boryeong Mud Festival is also hold until 26th, July. So you should take a swim and apply mud pack on your body. It would be an unforgettable memory. I really recommend Daecheon seaside resort.
