I always recommend Suncheon filming site to everyone who travels Suncheon. It is the special place for children with the new experience, and for adults with the good memory. Since I lived the place looks like this, I gave myself up to thought of my friends and young parents. I visited here in four years. Various programs have been held for special experience. Now, here we go!

All historical dramas or films were made in Suncheon filming site. A huge number of artworks were filmed here. Those who like films or dramas would meet the same place with that of the artworks.

As I enter, I can see the filming site of old Seoul suburb. Old buildings and alleys have been set in quite a large area. It consists of three themes; Suncheon-up filming site, Seoul suburb filming site and poor hillside village of Seoul filming site.

The main street where I lived in 1970s was almost the same with this. I feel like coming back to the period with time machine.

Meanwhile, a lot of people are wearing uniforms of 1970s and 1980s. I thought they came on a school trip, but they all looked over 20 years old. What is happening?

You can borrow old uniforms here. It costs 2,000 won for one person. It is a good idea. I have seen some staff members hire people wearing old cloth in the old filming site. But I have never seen tourists wear uniforms and be a part of filming site on their own. Tourists can make an unforgettable memory, and staff members can save personnel expenses. It is a win-win situation!

Have you ever seen this place in the recent film? It is a ditch which was often shown in the film “Heo Sam Kwan”. “Okcheon stream”, which flowed across Suncheon town in 1950s and 1960s, has been recreated.

Do you remember this house? Heo Sam Kwan lived here in the film. Children take a picture pleasantly. They are all wearing uniforms. It is highly commendable.

Foods in the old times are being sold in the market. There are rice soup and fish cake, too. Someone is melting sugar and stamping star or heart shapes on it. And people are cutting along the lines. It was called “Jjokjja” in Busan, “Popgi” in Seoul. I remember I cut the piece of sugar snack seriously. It was 10 won when I was a child. But now, it is 1,000 won. The price has shot up a hundredfold!

I can hear the dance popsong in 1980s near “The music room of the memory”. Now, here we go!

Dancing mother and daughter in the music room of the memory are really beautiful. They went back to the period when people weared colorful T shirts and white pants. As anyone gets older, he or she may think the past was better than the present.

Poor hillside village has been recreated on the slope. All villages looked like this when I was a child. This filming site was motivated by Bongcheon-dong, Seoul. In complicated poor village, everyone knew the houses and the jobs of other people. Neighbor couple fought always when the husband drank a lot. Mr. Minsoo always made a strange noise at night after coming back from the Samchung training center. Gwangwha's six family members lived together in the single room. Mice lived in the roof of my house, and the rain always dropped from the ceiling. I don't want to go back, but I miss that time.

What a perfect old alley! Since people were all poor, they didn't visit other people's house when someone made food. Food was not enough to their family members.

The

well was always located in the center of the village. Here is the

same. I miss my friends who running out after calling their names

near the well.

Small church stands on the top of the village. I don't know why, but there was always a church on the top of shantytown. There is a church on the hill of my village now, too.

Many family members would live in this house, I guess. Anyways, have you ever seen this house before? It was the place where the family members of SBS TV drama “Love and ambition” lived in poverty.

Young couple are having a date near the well. It seems that having a date wearing uniforms became a kind of trend. Young people are mostly wearing uniforms.

Maybe I am the only one who remember this house. It was Yoon-hee's boarding house in my favorite KBS TV drama “the love rain”. When it was raining, Inha apologized to Yoon-hee in front of the window for hiding a diary. The room with two small windows on the right side was Yoon-hee's room.

Right. There were always small stores, real estate agency and rice store in front of the village. It was a poor childhood, seriously. There was no rice in the rice box, so my mother cooked rice porridge with kimchi and spoiled rice. She was in her 30's at that time. Maybe she was fed up with that period.

It is really good place to have a date, huh? Which year is it?

Young people's funny behaviors made me smile. They became the flowers in front of the flower shop. :-) What a cute! It is fun to look around old buildings in the filming site, but funny behaviors of young people are also pleasant.

“The love story” is being on air in the theater! It is evident that you can make an unforgettable memory here. You should visit Suncheon filming site if you want to enjoy old memory, and want your children to experience new things. Suncheon travel would be the best. I strongly recommend it.
