I'm going to introduce vicinity of Seogwipo city in Jeju and Jungmun tourism complex.
The places I visited around vicinity of Seogwipo city and Jungmun tourism complex were Jusang-jeolri (pillar-shaped joint), Jeongbang-pokpo (Jeongbang waterfall), and swiso-kkak.
Jungmun Jusang-jeolri 중문 대포주상절리
Its name does not mean its particular designation, rather it means the unique geographical feature created by volcanism.. The shape of side is hexagon, but it's in the form of triangular pillar and these pillars are connected to each other.

In Jungmun tourism complex, there are yeomiji botanical garden, various museum and galleries, and etc. to catch tourists' attention. I chose to see Jusang Jeolridae because I personally wanted to see it.

Those joints like pillar you see in the picture are called Jusang-jeolri.

Those joints with Jeju's clean and blue sea are an incredible thing to see.
You can't go down and see them closely, but there are small park, way, and observatory to watch them while walking around.

Aside from Jusang-jeolri, there are various strange rocks and bizarre stones, and you can also watch the big waves touching rocks and making white bubbles.
Jeongbang pokpo 정방폭포, I-jung-seob geori 이중섭거리
Next place I went was Jeongbang waterfall. You can easily get there from Seogwipo city and there are two waterfalls namely Jeongbang pokpo and Cheonjiyeon pokpo. Cheonjiyeon pokpo is a bit more magnificent and wonderful, but I went to see Jeongbang pokpo because I could see water falling into the sea and I could go near and get wet by water.
While going to Jeongbang pokpo from Seogwipo city, there is I-jung-seob geori.
I-jung-seob geori is created for a Western-style painter, I-jung-seob, in 1996. There is a house where he fled in 6.25 war, and I-jung-seob art gallery opened in 2002.

There are various things to see at I-jung-seob geori. Moreover, there are funny souvenirs which you can only buy here. So if you want to buy some rare souvenirs, I suggest you visit here and look around.

I went here without a plan and bought so many souvenirs unexpectedly.

I went to Jeongbang pokpo after looking at this cute street.

This is Jeongbang pokpo. It's connected with sea so you can watch water falling into the sea. The ticket price is 2,000won. From October to April, it operates from 8:30 to 17:30, and from May to September, it opens at 8:00 to 18:30.

For your safety, there is an assigned time when you can enter. If you go there during daytime, you can feel the cold water and wind together.

Swiso-kkak 쇠소깍
Next place is swiso-kkak. It's located in where sea and river meet. You can ride transparent kayak boat or Jeju's traditional boat.
You can't make a reservation ahead because whether it will run or not depends on the weather of each day. I went there at 11am, but since there were too many people who reserved, I could ride it by 3pm.

You can ride kayak or Jeju's traditional boat (tewoo) from the end of the river to the start part of the sea.
While waiting for 4 hours, I had my lunch and took some pictures around the breakwater.

If you go there on a sunny day, you can take an unique picture with white breakwater and red lighthouse.

You can't go up or go inside of the lighthouse, but you can take pictures around it.

You can see big fishes roaming around the clean water. Unfortunately, they didn't go near me when I rode kayak so I had to take a picture from far.

A transparent kayak is made up of acrylic as you see in the picture. You can see water from kayak, but it's not clear so you better don't expect too much.

You can see Jeju's traditional boat, Tewoo, beside me pulling an oar.

While pulling an oar on the clean water, you can enjoy watching unexplored regions of swiso-kkak.

Pulling an oar is not very difficult so if you do several times, youwill know how to do it. Even though I wore a life vest, there were small aids at sides so it won't turn upside down easily.
Foods
After touring Josang-jeolri, I went to a famous Hwiguksu restaurant.
If you walk a bit from Jusang-jeolridae, you can find this restaurant.

They are famous for seafood kalguksu and sashimi guksu.

It's sashimi bibim guksu with live fish sashimi on top.

I mixed them very well and ate them.
It was delicious, but I liked sashimi bibim guksu of Sammuguksu in Jeju more. Let's say, sammuguksu is a really famous restaurant for its taste while this one is less than that.

Seafood kalguksu had many shells and crustacean, and the taste was the same as typical seafood kalguksu.
There is Olleh market in Seogwipo city. Famous restaurants in olleh market are Beodeul-jib where you can eat damselfish sashimi and Jungang chicken where you can eat delicious chicken.
Seogwipo maeil olleh market is located in the city and it's quite big conventional market.
First, I went to Beodeul-jib. There were various menus.

You have to go to inside more at the end of its market to find this restaurant. It's a pretty old restaurant. In the beginning of summer, damselfish sashimi is good so I ordered one of it.

They serve damselfish sashimi with rice and side dishes as you see in the picture. It's 7,500won.

This dish is good for summer which is made up of soybean paste soup, vegetables, and sashimi to cool you off. Size of damselfish is small so it comes with bones and fins. I don't suggest if you don't like sashimi with bones and fins, but I think it adds up more taste when you chew them together.
After finishing this, I went to Jungang chicken for my nighttime snack.
Jungang chicken is also located in Seogwipo maeil olleh market.

They say it's cooked in the old way, but I think they just sliced it and fried with curry powder and other sauces. Anyway, if you take it out, you will notice its smell is really good. When I bought it for takeout, I felt really sorry for the taxi driver because of its smell.
The chicken looks like this. Aside from chicken, they fried potatoes together. It's 15,000won and is good for two persons. Even though, it gets cold and damp, it's still delicious. However, if you're expecting the old chicken taste or something Jeju's special taste, you might get disappointed. It's just a typical delicious chicken.
Next is seafood soup which I ate while waiting for transparent kayak at Swiso-kkak.

It caught my attention with its overwhelming look as it was served. It was plentiful for only at 30,000won.
Hahyo-Eochongye-sikdang is operated by fishing village in region.
It's located near this point in the map above. It's a pretty big building so it won't be hard to find.

I and the fish looked at each other as I entered the restaurant.
I couldn't eat that fish so I just ordered seafood soup.

In the seafood soup, they put plenty of mushrooms, soybean sprout, water parsley, pen shells, abalone, shrimp, mussel, shells, and etc. It feels like you are at eat-all-you-can.
