Moosum Village has beautiful nature and keeps old houses. Naeseongcheon stream flows three parts of the village. The village is like an island. Even 30 years ago, local people built the bridge with trees, and crossed the stream. The bridge was flew away in the flood, and local people established it again.

The single log bridge has linked the village and the land for the last 350 years. It is about 150 meters. The bridge was destroyed when the modern bridge was built in 1979. But the local people restored it again.

You would be surprised with Moosum village for three times. Firstly, you would be surprised with the mountain and the water. Secondly, the old houses. Lastly, the spirit of open and reformation that the village keeps. Why don't you meet ancestors who were content amid poverty and took pleasure in acting in an honest way?

You should cross Soodogyo bridge to enter Moosum village. Moosum village on the backside of the village is another way to link the village to outside. Before these two bridges were established, a single log bridge was the only way to link the village to outside. Local people say, “A woman crossed the single log bridge when she got married. And she crossed the bridge again after she was dead.” The single log bridge still links the inside and the outside of Moosum village. [Naver encyclopedia]

There is Moosum bridge in Moosum village. Moosum bridge is located in the remote place. Couples and families who cross the bridge look so friendly. I saw Moosum bridge in the early morning after staying the night in the village in the past. But I saw it in the sunset at this time. It is totally different to see the same place in other times.

I looked at the golden river, and took a picture of a couple who crossed the bridge.

Can I say I saw every parts of Moondum bridge since I saw it in the early morning and in the sunset? Well, I don't know. I want to visit here in snowy winter again.
