Baekje Remains in Gwanbuk-ri 관북리백제유적

I had a deep sleep and hardly checked out in the morning. First destination of today was Busosanseong.

While I was on my way to Busosanseong, I had to pass by Baekje Remains in Gwanbuk-ri. It's not clearly revealed yet, but this is predicted as an old site of Sabi palace.

There was nothing to see here yet. I suddenly remembered what the taxi driver told me. He said many places are not yet developed. If it gets developed, there will be more things to see in Buyeo.

Buyeo Dongheon in the middle of the historical site had three buildings namely Gaeksa, Dongheon, and Naedongheon. It was simply where district magistrate worked and lived before.

In Dongheon building, there is a signboard that says “Choyeondang." In addition, the treasure “Buyeo stone house" we saw in the museum was found here in yard.

Aside from historical site of Baekje, they made Buyeo Dongheon of Joseon age with cornerstone to restore it. They also used buildings as museums. You can see history from many different periods.

Busosangseong(부소산성) and Goransa(고란사)

You can see the entrance of Busosansong on the right side from Buyeo gaeksa. I showed the cyber Baekje certificate at the ticket booth and we were able to enter for free.

You can see many castles, Buddhist temples, and Nakhwaam here in Busosanseong. It's popular in Buyeo and of course, lots of tourists are there even in the early morning.

Buso Mountain is a small mountain which is only at an altitude of 100m. That's why it's easy to claim. Well, it's like just taking a walk in the park rather than claiming a mountain.

It's windy with shadows. If you go straight a bit from the entrance and turn right…

You'll see Samchungsa. There are ancestral tablets of 'Seongchung', 'heungsu', and 'gyebaek' here and inside the building, there are portraits of them in front.

The ones I didn't see in the Euiyeolsa are all here. It's a quiet and calm place since they enshrine those ancestral tablets.

All streets in Busosanseong looked cozy. I want to go here again when it snows.

Young-il-roo is located on the halfway up the mountain. Young-il-dae was actually here in this place where you could see sunrise. You can see the middle character in the signboard is smaller than others. It's because it expresses the figure of sun between mountaintops.

Banwolru is located between Twimwisik mountain fortress and Pogoksik mountain fortress. It's recently built and the signboard was written by Prime Minister Kim Jong Pil.

You can see the downtown of Buyeo from Banwolru.

Gunchangji was where they stored food for war. Carbonized grains were found here. They burned all foods when they retreated to prevent enemies to get those foods.

It's Sajaru located on top of Buso Mountain. The national treasure no. 196 we saw in the museum was discovered here.

The signboard of Sajaru was written by Euichinwang-igang, the fifth son of Gojong.

On the other side, there is another signboard saying “Baekmajanggang" written by Haegang Kim Gyu Jin.

While going down from Sajaru, I saw Yeonliji. If you look closely, two branches of tree are combined as one.

I arrived at Nakhwaam. On the top of Nakhwaam, there is Baekhwajeong. There were a lot of people around it. Nevertheless, I wanted quiet and lonely mood.

I only took a walk around fortress until now. For this time, I felt very cool and open looking at Baekma River from Nakhwaam. However, you can't properly see Nakhwaam on the top of Nakhwaam.

To look at Nakhwaam properly, a cruise ship is good! I saw the royal rode sailboat on the water. So I went to ride a cruise ship.

I could see small stone towers and knew that I was near to Goransa.

Goransa is located under cliff of Nakhwaam. It's a temple to cherish the memory of Samcheongungnye who jumped from Nakhwaam and died.

Goransa is famous for its water called Goranyaksu which they say this water will make you three years younger if you drink it.

Expectedly, there were lots of people. Goranyaksu is water from cracks between stones. This water was often drunk by kings of Baekje and to prove that it was real Goranyaksu, they got a Gorancho leaf which only grew in Goransa.

After drinking Goranyaksu, I went down to the dock.
