Yoyoma's Kitchen is across from the Seoul Arts Center. It's quite art-friendly from its name to its location, isn't it? There is charmingly decorated terrace next to the entrance. It would be nice to sit here and enjoy dessert on a sunny day.

Inside the restaurant, antique tables and chairs, furniture, paintings, musical instruments, and props are illuminated by a gentle chandelier.

Especially, the ceiling is high and the space is excellent. The violin hanging on the ceiliing is impressive. Yo-Yo-Ma is a cellist, but since cello is too heavy, I guess they replaced it with a violin. It's a a memorable interior anyway. There is calm classical music of course.

At first glance, the menu looks like a hand-stained sheet music and it looks classical as well.

It would be perfect to taste the food for my soul by watching a good performance at the Seoul Arts Center, and the food for my body at Yoyoma's Kitchen. I ordered launch B set.

Many western-style restaurants have open kitchens, as Yoyoma's Kitchen does. It was disappointingthat the staffs in the kitchen were chatting and cooking without wearing mask. Open kitchen is evidence that they are confident in cleanliness, but not wearing mask is the opposite.

The special thing about Yoyoma's Kitchen is that dinner concert is held in there. It seems to have been quite active before COVID-19, but it has been temporarily suspended recently.

The pre-dinner bread is ready in the first order of the set menu. It comes with a coin tissue soaked in warm water.

Pretty dense bread is savory and light. It goes well with balsamic olive oil.

Next comes organic soup. It's a cream soup with rough rough particles-which seems to be ground beans. I still can't forget its good flavor. It was the most impressive food on the whole course, enough to want to order it separately.

Salad is a combination of vegetables of various colors to stimulate my appetite. All the vegetables were fresh.

It's the main menu, Provence's braised pork neck, which the server recommended for me. I was surprised by the large amount compared to the average restaurant. Braised pork neck with soft mash potato and tomato sauce with sour cream sauce.

The pork neck is quite thick and I can feel the good texture of the meat. It's thick pork neck but it's not dry but it's soft. It also goes well with tomato sauce with minced mushrooms, eggplants and onions.

The sauce is rather salty, but eating with mash potato and sourcream neutralizes it.

Coffee is served for dessert. It's supposed to be served in a mug, but they served it in a fancy cup. Frankly, I can't give high marks for this coffee. There was a famous coffee machine, so I expected a little, but it was too bitter.

Yoyoma's Kitchen can be a good choice to cheer yourself up after visiting the Seoul Arts Center only if their kitchen cleanliness and dessert are improved.
