Gyeonghwa Station is famous in Jinhae naval port festival as much as Yeojwacheon Romance Bridge. It is a small train station in Gyeonghwa-dong. It has been a temporary station since 2006. Usually, a temporary train has been operated during naval port festival. But it was not operated this year for the security reason. It is famous for cherry blossoms tunnel along the trail. It is one of the famous cherry blossom tourist spots in Jinhae along with Yeojwacheon Romance Bridge and Anmin hill. Why don't you enjoy beautiful powder pink cherry blossoms?

I will let you know the bus service if you stayed near Changwon Myeong-gok square. The bus stop is located in the large street in front of “Agriculture technology center”. You can go to Gyeonghwa Station when you ride No. 151 bus. You can reach right in front of Gyeonghwa Station within 30 minutes.

This is the first time I take an intra-bus in a long time. The fee is 1,300 won. It is happy to look outside the window in a bus. I recommend you use public transportaion in the peak season.

The bus stops right in front of Gyeonghwa Station. The cherry blossoms tunnel is awesome, huh? You can walk on the trail with beautiful cherry blossoms. A Mugunghwa-ho train was installed for the photo-zone. Some people took a picture on the operating train. It was so dangerous.

It is crowded with people in front of the train. It looks interesting, huh? Falling cherry blossoms leaves look so romantic. It would be dangerous at normal time.

Gyeonghwa Station is picturesque in spring time. It was the filming site of the movie “The boy goes to the heaven” and drama “The waltz of spring”. You can enjoy cherry blossoms longer than Yeojwacheon along with 800 meters of trail. You may hard to take a picture among the people. But you will meet the mysterious temporary station at 6 a.m..

Foods are important in a festival. You can eat foods on the trail after buying them at the end of Gyeonghwa Station. It is convenient to take a rest on a bench under cherry blossoms.

This is not crowded since people go to the station. Couples are busy to take a picture after setting a camera. Well, people in the city can't take a picture in a trail. They would be so happy, wouldn't they?

This is a street of Jinhae. Every places are full of cherry blossoms. Tourists would envy the locals of Jinhae as they can enjoy the beautiful scenery all the time.

I mentioned that Jinhae(Changwon) has good bicycle system named “Noobiza”. Anyone can borrow a bicycle at 1,000 won. You can borrow it any place and return it any place in Changwon. You can arrive at Gyeonghwa Station within an hour by a bicycle. It would be a good way to enjoy Jinhae travel.
