I found out this tea house while looking for a good place to kill time in the afternoon.

It's in an alley of Donggyo-dong, very quiet looking place.

I think I'm the only customer.
Maybe it's because it's weekday afternoon, or because the cars they sell are quite expensive.

Oh, and after I came back home, I googled this place and found out that this place is also famous for foot baths.
I guess there's a foot bath by the window, but I didn't notice it because it was covered by the sofa.

I have never seen this kind of tea menu before.
According to the staff's explanation, basically there are six different yakcha(herbal tea). And you can choose the most interested one by the body part it takes effect.
If you want it to be more tailored, you can choose from the eight different types of mind, plus six different body parts.
Then it's 6 times 8, so it's like choosing from 48 types of custom tea.
And these days, because of the COVID-19 situation, they serve you in a take-out cups even if you don't take out(10% off)
I have bowel trouble, so I chose basic 02-'self-control' and custom 03-'I have to do it myself to be relieved'.

Here comes some dried ginger and jujube for snack, and my custom-made tea.
The tea tastes light and clean.
It doesn't taste like regular herbal tea at all, but it tastes little bit like herbal medicine.
It doesn't smell strong like herbal medicine, so everyone can feel comfortable with it.
It's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and it's open only in the afternoon, so I recommend you to come right after lunch and enjoy your time.
It is a 10 minute walk from exit 1 of Hongdae Station line 2. Don't pass by it thinking it's a garden house.
