Dongguksa Temple
Dongguksa which was built in 1909, one year before Japanese annexation of Korea, is the only Japanese temple that remains in Korea now. As one of 5 Japanese temples in Gunsan, it was the biggest and it followed the edo period's architectural style. Japanese Buddhist architectural style is exotic in Korea.
The middle-aged women who have been friends since school days came to sightsee. I wish they had a nice time here.

It was the election day, temporary holiday, so I was moved by high school students visiting Gunsan for a historical trip and I couldn't help but admire the teachers who took them here.
The place was full of yellow ribbons for the dead from Sewol accident. I felt so bad and sad that the only thing we could do is console the spirits of the dead.
Inside the main temple(Daeungjeong) of Dongguksa Temple, a lot of materials regarding modern history were displayed.

Wangsan Chinese Restaurant - Spicy Jjamppong 왕산중화요리
My friends suggested to me to try Jjanmbbong at Bokseongru restaurant, which is one of three best Jjambbong restaurants in Korea, but I went to try Wangsan spicy Jjamppong restaurant instead. Because the picture of Jjambbong with much more seafood than Bokseongru's Jjambbong made me drooling.
This is Kongnamul(bean sprouts) Jjambbong with various seafood and octopus that I could eat for 6,000 won which is so reasonable for its content.
I liked it that the owner was kind enoughto give a free Jjajangmyeon, not so spicy,to one couple at the restaurant so that they could feed their little girl.
I am not a fan of spicy food so I ordered a White jjambbong. It has an egg inside and it is not spicy compared to Kongnamul(bean sprouts) jjambbong. The taste was light and the soup was full of seafood. Daehanminguk Manse(hooray, Korea!) that I can eat this Jjambbong just for 6,000 won.

They copied modern interior with black and white style. A latest controllable air conditioner, a firm mattress and a wall-mountable TV welcomed us.

The bidet was very well-maintained so we found it convenient.
It was weird to see computer at a place like this. There were not enough sockets to plug in so we had to pull the plug that's connected to computer. A few more sockets would've been nice.
We found 2 cold water bottles in the fridge.
Clean gowns and flat pillows were prepared in the closet.
The room service menu tells me that the prices were quite lower than other hotels. But we couldn't order anything because we ate so much at Saemangeum Hoetjib, which I'm going to tell you about soon.
The glow of the setting sun over the Bieungdo aerogenerators was amazing. I imagine a trident of propeller poking the sun and eating it. lol
I think I was fortunate to see this scenery from Bi-eung Port. The red glow of the sun is still there far away, the sky brought the dark blue night and the fishing boats were busy with moving the fish out of the boat.
