Botanical garden is not a common place. I found a fine flower botanical garden. Most tourist spot is not crowded in cold winter. But you can look around beautiful flowers inside in Asan World Botanical Garden. Since it is close to Paradise Spa Dogo, it is good to look around after bathing in the hot springs. I didn't expected too much, but I lost myself in the botanical garden. Now, here we go!

The first impression of World Botanical Garden was bad since it is located between the deserted rice paddy and field. But some tourists who visited the botanical garden said it was warm and very good. So I entered it without hesitation.

There are LIAF garden center and botanical garden. LIAF garden center is located at the entrance. Unlike my expectation, the interior was clean and beautifully decorated. LIAF garden center has cafe, restaurants, experience hall, flower shop and rest area.

It is beautifully decorated just like sophisticated coffee shops in the big city. It is also equipped with elegant fireplace. It is good place to enjoy coffee or have a meal.

You should walk for a while to visit the botanical garden from LIAF garden center. Even though it was emaciated, Metasequoia road was so beautiful. So I entered the road before heading to my destination.

This is the entrance of the botanical garden. It is cold and snowy winter outside, but it is warm spring inside. The botanical garden is quite huge, so you should look around it meticulously. Don't be embarrased by the big size. All you have to do is just looking around following the arrow.

This beautiful fluffy red flower is Glabrous colicroot. As it is, its size is like the finger, and it looks like the fur of an animal. Moreover, the red color is so amazing that my wife wanted to have it. :-)

Blossoming garden is located near the entrance. You can see a bunch of gorgeous flowers. Pink lily with the flower language “pink love” is blossomed beautifully. Wow! It is even more beautiful in winter.

The red flower behind yellow lily is hibiscus. The herb tea that my wife likes is made of hibiscus. It turns deep red when you soak in the hot water. It has sour taste and fresh fragrance. Unlike other teas like rosemary or chamomile, it has strong attractiveness. I wanted to buy a bunch of hibiscus, but it was not sold. Haha.

A cat is dozing in the warm botanical garden. She felt fast asleep, so she doesn't know that I approch to her. It's so cute.
Spring flowers have blossomed in the garden of flowers earlier, so it looks like as if spring was coming. But it is snowy winter outside.

Carps are living in a pond in the botanical garden. Beautiful and colorful flowers have blossomed on the pond. But they are plastic flowers made of recycled bottles. The flowers does not fade away for 365 days 24 hours, and have good fragrance. The plastic flowers were made in the botanical garden, and were displayed in Cheonggyecheon stream upcycle festival.

You can see begonia flower tunnel after passing by eco garden! I have seen begonia flowers often, but the flower tunnel is so beautiful and splendid. Many women tourists exclaim and spend a long time to take a picture of herself in the tunnel. If you visit here with your girl friend, you should take a picture for her. The picture would be amazing.

There is bougainvillea flower tunnel right next to begonia flower tunnel. The color is so beautiful, isn't it?

You would hear the sound of birds from the entrance of world flower botanical garden. You will see bird feed garden after following tourism direction. You can go inside the cage. You can buy bird feed from vending machine, and give it to birds on your own. It costs 1,000 won.

Who made the expression “birdbrain”? Birds sat on my shoulder before I took out bird feed. They noticed that I am going to feed them. How smart they are! Even carps gather to eat fish feed.

Dozens of birds peck at and eat feed on my hands. It is pricking and tickling, but it's fun. It was an interesting experience.

I liked this parrot the most. She looks like a doll, doesn't she? She was small and cute, and her body color was so beautiful. I wanted to bring her to my house. I visited the botanical garden to look around flowers, but I saw the flock of parrot. It was an interesting experience. You should give feed to birds if you visit here. I strongly recommend it.

There is maze garden next to bird feed garden. I calmed down in the maze garden after having fun with parrots. The garden is small, but it makes me feel comfortable.

This is desert garden. The huge cactus is growing to the ceiling. How long has it grown?

There is fruits garden in the botanical garden. The boughs are loaded with fruits. All fruits are big and appetizing. But you should not pick the fruits and eat them as they were sprayed agricultural chemicals. Charming fruits might be produced thanks to agricultural pesticides.
This is “Angel trumpet”. It looks like a small trumpet. You should sit or lie to see flowers since they head to the ground. So my wife squat down to see them.

You would go back to LIAF garden center again if you follow the arrow properly. You can buy flowers and flowerpots in the shop before going out to exit.
Flowers are being sold within a small pot. It only costs 2~3,000 won. But I am not sure whether the flowers grow well in the house in winter.

I met a dog in the exit of the botanical garden. Her body is messed up with snow as she romped around the snowfield. She was so friendly and cute that I stroked her head for a long time. The owner said her speciality is killing a frog at once. Haha.

The admission fee of the botanical garden includes plant coupon. You can receive small fleshy plant pot in the ticket office. You can see beautiful flowers, have fun with birds and receive small flower pot. It is not expensive to visit there. I strongly recommend it.
