I found a Jokbal(pig's feet) restaurant at the entrance of the alley that the firewood oven pizza restaurant and the Indian curry restaurant I visited last time are in.
It was dinner time, and I wanted to see if there are many guests, and try if it's good.

It was easy to find because it was near the entrance to the first alley after coming out of the subway exit.
besides, it's located at the intersection corner in the alley, so there are sings on two sides.

'Mapo Somunnan(famouse) Jokbal(pig's feet) Sundaeguk(blood sausage soup)', what a long name. Is it because there are many similar names or to emphasize that soondaeguk is also sold?
I arrived at early lunch time.

It's just the openning time, so the staff members are having lunch.
There's nothing to hurry, so I'll order after they finish.

It feels like they are going to focuson sundaeguk meals during the day and jokbal and drinking snacks at night.

There are jokbal, bossam, sundaeguk on the menu.
I ordered 'wang(king size) jokbal' front feet because I have a company with me today.
Some people say that the front feet taste better but some people like the back feet because they are more light.

Sundaeguk came out first. I was like "Wait, I didn't order it" but it's on the house.
Usually it's small when it's complimentary, but this seems to be the same size as it's ordered separately.
The soup tastes thick and deep so I think I can drink one or two bottles of soju with friends.

This is the main dish, jokbal. The one on the left is sundae, which is also complimentary.
I heard that the front feet has better balance between the fat and meat and perhaps because of that, the chewy texture is on another level.
Some jokbal restaurants make their jokbal too sweet these days, but I like this isn't.
They only sell Korean jokbal made on that day, so if you visit late in the evening, it might be sold out.
It's open from lunchtime to dawn without a break.
Less than five minutes away from exit 5 of Hapjeong station.
