“Dami sushi restaurant, a must-go restaurant in Kkotji beach, Anmyeondo island
There is a fine sushi restaurant near Kkotji beach, Bangpoang port, Anmyeondo island. I visit here whenever I come to Anmyeondo island. It is a rare restaurant which serves fresh and clean food. Most restaurants use pre made food, or cook with not fresh ingredients. But this restaurant is different. And fresh fried food or other side dishes are so delicious. So I visited here again. I must eat Daeha in season, and a dish of fresh sliced raw flatfish.

I visited here after three year's absence. Nothing has changed. It is not a famous restaurant, but it is a model restaurant recognized by the local government. It is so faithful.

I opened the menu. Well, what should I have? Wow, the price is the same with that of three years ago. I have always ordered set menu served with sashimi and abalone for 120,000 won, and I ordered the same menu again. Set menu for 120,000 won has so many food that we can hardly eat them all. But we will eat up in a flash at this time. :-)

As I order the menu and wait a moment, staff members serve the table. The dishes are so neat as the same with those of three years ago. Side dishes are different from the season. All food are served for two people, but we can order them again. But you must be full with other side dishes. :-)
Fresh sea squirt, raw abalones, adductor muscle of pen shells and alive sliced raw octopus! You must eat raw octopus at first since it easily gets out of the dishes.
Boiled conch and steamed stingray are also delicious. Round hand made fish cake next to steamed stingray is awesome. Manila clam soup tastes refreshing and spicy with cheongyang red pepper. Moreover, fresh deep-fried shrimp is so crispy. It is even more delicious than 500 won fried food that I ate on the street of sandy beach.

The owner of the restaurant served salted Daeha for free as I visited again. I was so thankful. It may cost 2-30,000 won in the restaurant of sandy beach port. Even if you buy Daeha only in a market, it may cost 30,000 won for 30 shrimps.

Food in season is delicious. It's true. In particular, domestic Daeha is really sweet. If you don't want to peel shrimp, ask a favor to your lover. Haha.

This is sliced raw flatfish! I love Dami sushi restaurant since it serves clean and decorated food. It is flawless. The interior is perfect. The food is great, of course. :-)

I like to eat sashimi with ssamjang. It is even more delicious if you eat with garlic. Do you want to try one?

It is also well matched with mustard soy bean sauce. I wonder if it is okay to eat many side dishes like this. Even so, I will eat much sashimi and seafood rather than rice.

Wow, this is a rockfish, isn't it? The huge salted rockfish was grilled in oven. How can I eat rice without these side dishes?

And another reason that I often visit Dami sushi restaurant is this grilled abalone. It is coated with delicious sauce. The taste is out of this world! As you may know, it worths the price.

Grilled abalone tastes so sweet. It is a grand affair. Children would also love it I think.

The guts of abalone have been stir-fried with the same sauce. That means it is not a frozen abalone since we can only eat the guts of alive abalone. They also melt in my mouth.

Finally, spicy rockfish stew has been served. I asked to put a rockfish in spicy stew after eating it once before. It looks so delicious, huh?

I ate only seafood without rice. I am so pleasant of it. It is one of the benefits for tourists. Some people say that they can eat more in house than in restaurant when purchasing seafood in wholesale market. They don't understand a taste of travel. I don't want to introduce Dami sushi restaurant to them. But if you go travel to Kkotji beach, Anmyeondo island, why don't you visit here? All food is clean and delicious. I highly recommend it.
