The places I visited in the vicinity of Jeju city are Dodu Fishing Port, Iho Tewoo Beach, Herb land, Youngduam, and etc..
Dodu Fishing Port 도두항
Dodu fishing port is located in the vicinity of Jeju international airport. It's 6.5km away from the airport by car and it costs around 7,000won by taxi.

Fish bone shape bridge at Dodu fishing port
Dodu fishing port does not have many things see, but it is relatively near to the airport and you can enjoy water leisure like submarine.

You can see beach consist of volcanic rocks at Dodu fishing port.
I do not really suggest submarine, but if you really want to ride it, you may do so. However,
there is not many things to see when you go under water so you better not expect too much. I suggest, if you have enough money, you do snorkeling or scuba diving instead.

We went to a mooring by a small ship to ride submarine.

You can see fishes like these in the submarine.
If you expected something like a beautiful and natural aquarium under the sea, you might get very disappointed looking at those fishes with very vague view from inside. Plus, you might also get seasickness so be careful.

You can watch those few kinds of fishes because of the scuba diver who feeds them outside of the submarine. If you really want to take a dreamlike picture under the water, you may try taking one.

I went back to the land finally. These water tanks you see in the picture are used by fishing boats at the port.
Iho-Tewoo Beach 이호테우해변
Iho-tewoo beach is located near dodu fishing port.
It's one of the nearest beaches from Jeju city and it has big sandy beach and munsoo water
(salt water coexists with fresh water).
It's 6.5km away from Jeju international airport and it costs around 7,000won by taxi.

Like in the picture, Iho-tewoo beach has two lighthouses, red horse and white horse.
There is a sandy beach and on the other side, there is munsoo water and Wondam made up of stones which shapes like a net.

Munsoo water where spring water comes out at the beach
The circle part in the picture is where Munsoo water is coming out. Munsoo water is where
spring is coming out so it's cold and clean. It's used for people to wash up after playing and swimming at the beach.

Where munsoo water comes out is not well shown in the picture, but it's about adult's knee high.

The a semilunar shape stone wall you see in the picture is Wondam. Wondam acts as a net that
catches fishes when it's high tide using difference between low and high tide. There are no big waves around the stone wall so there are many marine life like hermit crabs. It's fun to catch one and you can enjoy it with children, too.

You can walk to the breakwater near the lighthouse to see the sunset and you can also see the sunset at the sandy beach.

Around the breakwater, you can frequently see people fishing.
