Buyeo hyanggyo 부여향교 & Euiyeolsa 의열사
Buyeo hyanggyo and Euiyeolsa are shown in the map, but they are not yet famous. I went to these two places. They were located in the small hill at the back of Saddo gukbab.
You can see a stone tablet and a gate of woman indicating that one should dismount from a horse regardless of their positions.
I felt like I found a great tourist spot that was not yet known. I felt excited.
I looked at the informationfirst. It said here that hyanggyo in Busosan got transferred here in the middle of 18th century. Those yin-yang designs were perfect for hyanggyo. I was pushing the door...
But it was locked. I had no choice; I just stared at juniper and Myengryundang from far.
I saw Daeseongjeon at the back, but it looked dilapidated for a long time.
I got a little bit disappointed, but there is Euiyeolsa!!
I ran to Euiyeolsa~!
Euiyeolsa is a shrine that keeps Baekje's three loyalists together with other three loyalists from Buyeo.
These doors were also locked.
Is this still in the preparation? There was no signboard. So I found out that these two places were not open for tourists. (I found out recently that they keep the three loyalists of Baekje in Samchungsa inside Busosanseong.)
Anyway, I got a moral lesson that there is always a reason why people don't go to such places so don't just go there without any information!!
There are Lotteria, Dunkins Donuts, and Baskin Robbins near terminal. If you're tired, you can go near terminal and have some rest in those stores.

Buyeo Hall of Korean traditional music 부여 국악의 전당
I decided to go to tourist spots far from the downtown. First place is Buyeo Hall of Korean traditional music. It's 20 minutes away from the downtown by car.
The reason why we went here was to watch the permanent concert of Korean tradtional music on Saturday. I should have reserved ahead, but there were some empty seats so I was able to enter.
Few minutes passed 2pm, the host started the concert with a short notice.
Hangapdeukryu was performed by a solo geomungo with a rhythm of drummer. It was my first time to see personally geomungo performance.
After the performance of geomungo, it was gayageum's turn to play Handaemok.
Next performance was the impromptu dance, Heung dance, expressing the emotions of women during spring days with light folding fans.
This is Heungbuga in a Korean traditional opera. The characters talked with audience to add more fun. After the performance of Sanyuhwaga...
Lastly, it was 'chum-madang heung-madang' which the audience like the most. I was amazed by their dance with that long cord on the head.
Free concert is scheduled until the last week of October. Depending on the date, there are different performances so you can call and ask them. Be there until 2pm on Saturday so you can watch it.
