Theme Park Zoo Zoo
Theme Park Zoo Zoo is Korea’s first zoo that offers animal experiences for children and allows them to play with animals. It is not a zoo for visitors to just come and look, but rather a place where visitors can touch and play with some of the animals outside the cage areas. It is Korea’s only private zoo and was registered with the Ministry of Culture & Tourism in 2002, and is as popular as big zoo parks such as Seoul Grand Park in Gwacheon or Yongin Everland. The secret to such popularity is that this zoo is perfectly set to the eye level of children. There are more crocodiles, snakes, orangutans and monkeys that attract children’s curiosity than at other zoo parks. The place also offers many nature-friendly experience programs that enable visitors to observe animals up close. Zookeepers kindly help children touch and take photos of various animals.
