The quietness in the house we stayed, Deokindang. It's the Korean-style house that was built hoping that their children grow up with virtue and benevolence.

I see that people stay in Korean-style house because of this. This...watching the main floored room when I open the door wide open sitting in the room.

It doesn't seem like it has a proper bathroom but it did have a modern bathroom in the room so I did not feel comfortable at all.

If I look over the wall from the outside of the room, there is an alley. There were not many cars and the street was quiet so I did not even notice the house was next to the street.

Gajokhoegwan is quite popular such that if you ask anyone in Jeonju where to go to eat bibimbap most of them would point to that restaurant. I also heard that this restaurant's bibimbap recipe was passed onto to the Asiana airline food.

Bibimbap which costs 12,000 for one bowl is served with a big steamed egg ttukbaegi and tasty dishes around it. Bibimbap is served so hot like dolsot (stone pot) so soon you will be able to eat nurungji(crust of overcooked rice).

If I have another chance to come here, I will try to make a reservation first.

After I had a satisfying lunch at Gajokhoegwan, I started to walk towards Hanok Town and I found a barbershop that seemingly looks like at least 3-40 years old.

I would have to come here after I take a look around Hanok Town but I was so happy to see it so I decided to do some foot bath before I go to Hanok Town. For 10,000 won, you could have a foot bath for 40 minutes.

Customers who had come before me seemed like they were meditating. As I put my feet in water that boiled with mugwort, the employees offerd us acupressure therapy briefly. I thought it's good service to tourists who have been exhausted from a long walk.

As I was getting massage while foot bathing with fragrance of mugwort, the price I paid was totally worth it.

On the main street of Hanok Town, elegant curve waterway was decorated and picturesque. Although it was a small waterway, it still lowers the temperature in summer and makes us feel refreshed.

I could see the sense of beauty that transforms city gas meter into an art piece.

This is the view of home–stay house located in the valley of Hanok Town. I see that modern beauty and antiqueness of Hanok is properly harmonized.

If you spend 7,500 won, you could take your photos in Hanbok with this yard of Hanok home-stay house as background.

Middle-aged people who were on a picnic in late autumn were having fun like a kid which was impressive for me.

Young women who were into taking photos and selfies in Hanbok!!

With their short hair tied back and sitting with their back turned around, they were attracting other guys' attention. The skirt looks good with jeogori(upper garment of Korean traditional clothes). I asked them if I could take photos of them. Haha

This is a young girl who was posing for photo shoot for her boyfriend.

It looks like they are on a contest competing who's prettier and cuter.

I bumped into the ladies on my way out. They were checking their photos. Who is the photogenic today?

Among the various street foods in Hanok Town, one of the most popular ones is this Muncchochi. It's a big seasoned octopus barbecue and it's quite attractive.

I think this Katsuobushi is what makes it more yummy.

Another popular food is Kongnamul-gukbap(bean sprout and rice soup). I did not even expect this restaurant would be in Jeonju which was selected as a good restaurant by the TV program titled 'Meokgeori X File (Food X File)'.

Macaroon ice cream (3,000 won) is very delicious and it is snacks with natural fruit flavor ice cream between them.

Everywhere I went, I could see selfie stick changed the world. Young people who were posing in front of selfie stick.

Mojeong ggwabaegi (twisted bread stick) also tastes very good. From dough, twisting it with hands to frying it, they did all the work and you cannot stop eating once you taste it.

I see the line of people waiting to buy this 2,000 won package of twisted bread sticks is quite long.

She is making twisted bread stick with her hands one by one.

The most popular Kongnamul-gukbap restaurant, Sambaekjib, has opened another branch here in Hanok Town as well. I believe it got more famous as it was introduced in the comic book Sikgaek by the artist Heo Yeong-man. But I've been to the restaurant before so we decided to go to its competitor restaurant, Oengi Kongnamul-gukbap the next day.

Oh, one of things I'd like to try next time I visit Jeonju is sundae at this place.

The most delicious street food for me was this fried ice cream. It costs only 2,000 won and you could feel nutty, sweet and cold taste at the same time from fried bread with ice cream inside.

They sell gangjeong (fried glutinous rice crackers with sesame or beans) and grain syrup made of ingredients from Korea. One bag of gangjeong which is made of beans, Perilla seed and sesame costs 5,000 won and grain syrup costs 5,000 won for a small bottle and 10,000 won for a big bottle.

Just like any other tourism attraction, you could get your caricature drawing.

I see young people renting a vehicle called Segway and riding it. Thankfully they are running on the side street where there are not many people. A lot of people could find it uncomfortable and dangerous when they are bump into it on the main street in Hanok Town.
