There are a number of beautiful sunset places in Korea. But here is the best. Suncheon bay eco park is the world's only perfect coastal wet land. It has various geographical features such as the mouth of river, broad field of reeds, salt marsh community, mud flats and islands. Since it has a perfect natural coast line, you can enjoy a variety of ecologies and beautiful sunset. Huge mud flat and low mountains are unique landscape all around the world. Now, here we go!

It is so crowded with many people on weekends. There were few people four years ago, but the situation has changed. It is the best ecology tourist attraction in Korea.

It is cool at the entrance. It is three kilometers from the entrance to Yongsan observatory where you can see sunset. It takes 40 minutes when you walk slowly by passing the curved reed woodland path.

It is a heard shaped pine tree. It is well mixed with a cumulocirrus.

Reeds are the most beautiful in fall. The colorful reeds seem fantastic. There is nothing in spring. It is blue in summer. It is grey in winter. Fall is the best season to enjoy beautiful reeds.

The trail of Suncheonman bay is quite simple. After crossing broad reed forest, you can find a low mountain. The observatory on the beach is the ending point. Even though it is low, it is a steep mountain. So you need some physical strenght.

A number of living organisms in the mud flat are living under the reeds. The tide is in and out a day. About 300 zoobenthos including Boleophthalmus pectinirostris are living here. It seems to be a crab in the picture above.

It lefts 2.1 kilometers to Yongsan observatory. You would be disappointed if you arrive at there lately. It is not a walking distance within half an hour. It takes at least 40 minutes as you need to climb the mountain. You should park your car at least an hour before the sunset.

There is a broad field of reeds in the riverside of Seocheon. But it looks different. Reeds stretche over four kilometers.

Many living organisms are moving on the mud flat. Boleophthalmus pectinirostris and crabs are moving around. It is a well kept ecology which is rarely visited by anyone.

The sun has been setting in the field of reeds. I should climb the mountain as soon as possible after taking a picture.

It is a real mountain climbing after crossing small suspension bridge. :-)

There is a fork in the middle of the passage. The left one is “the road for meditation”, and the right one is “the tough road”. Two ways meet together after, but you'd better choose “the road for meditation”. “The tough road” is a shortcut, but it is too steep. So those who choose “the road for meditation” arrive early. Haha.

Wow, it is a wonderful sunset. It lefts about 100 meters to the observatory.

It was touch-and-go. I might have arrived at the observatory after the sunset. Why don't we see how the sky turns red as time goes by?

I arranged the pictures in chronological order. The sun is getting set.

It looks three-dimensional as the clouds in the sky meet the sun. It is awesome.

The field of reeds in mud flat has been created naturally. Isn't it beautiful?

Now the sun is setting beyond the mountain. I am sorry that I couldn't take a picture as it is. If anyone develops a camera like human eyes, he or she would get Novel prize.

I appreciated the sunset for about 20 minutes in Suncheonman bay. It was an unforgettable moment in my life. It was crowded with many foregin tourists, and they all admired at the landscape. Beautiful scenery draws attractions of every people, definitely.

Suncheon

is the best city to travel. There are national gardens, filming

sites, pretty alleys and the wonderful sunset. You must visit here

during the trip to Suncheon. Not only sunset, but the daytime is

awesome. I really recommend it.
