Haengbok forest Experience Center is located in a huge field in Chungju. There are Moonsung natural recreation forest, eco forest and wood culture experience center inside. These facilities are usually located in natural recreation forest, but they are gathered here in the name of Haengbok forest Experience Center. If you search for some activities with your children after having fun in the water, you can make tray or bookshelf by wood in wood culture experience center. The price is also reasonable. I had fun, too.

When you come on foot for five minutes from central square, you will find wood culture experience center, again. Leafy trees are really beautiful.

There is a monorail boarding place, so you can travel back and forth the top of a mountain. The price is 2,000 won for children, and 4,000 won for adults. If kids are afraid of Zip line, they'd better ride a monorail. It slowly goes up and comes down just like a cultivator. You can enjoy beautiful scenery.

A mysterious wood sculpture is in the center of a hall. Where did the wood come from? Its natural shape is so amazing. And I was so surprised that it wasn't hurt. :-)

These are goods for experience that you can make here. Price differs from their size and material. It costs 15,000 won for making a tray or a reading desk, and 40,000 won for a table or a deposit box. The material cost is included, of course. You can't buy these goods for this price, so you'd better to make necessary ones on your own. And it would be a good lesson for children. Adults can enjoy it, of course!

All necessary materials and tools are prepared, in advance. Let's do work wearing apron and putting gloves. You don't need to prepare every materials during the experience. Wood materials have been processed to some extent. You should sand the materials before assembling, and glue them. Now it is done.

There are sandpapers both with thick and thin particles. You should rub uneven part with thick sandpaper, and use thin sandpaper on smooth surface.

You should glue the parts of joint. And it is over. It looks simple, but it takes about an hour to treat surface of materials, glue them and rub with oil.

Glue the furrow of joint parts, and put each pieces together correctly. If there is an uneven part, you should hit a rubber hammer.

Because it is wood, its cracks can be widened before glue dries. So you should fix the material with tongs. As carpenter's bond is quite strong, it sticks well while waiting for about ten minutes. Since you can't change the structure after dried, you should fix well with tongs in order to adjust horizontality.

Wow, it is wonderful! You can serve a cup of coffee to your visitor on this small plate. It would be really useful. Even though you do not work during the whole process, you finish assembling on your own. You should be proud of it!

Goods are put in a shopping bag after the experience over. I have not taken part of experiences in order to take a picture on travel site, but it is also fun. I will participate in cost-reasonable experiences during one day two night travel. Especially, if you have a child, it would be the best place. I highly recommend woodcraft experience in Chungju haengbok forest experience center.
