MERSC(Middle Eastrespiratory Syndrom Coronavirus), which was the hottest issue in South Korea in June and July, 2015, has been burn down. Given that it was vacation season, however, Jeju airport was not heavily crowded. Jeju airport locates middle and small scale of rental car companies in the one side of the airport, and installed direction board well. So I could receive my car without waiting. Sonata LF by Hyundai Automobile showed very reliable performance as its TV commercial.
I arrived at Jeju airport at 8:30 AM. I decided to have sumptuous feast for myself as I woke up 4 AM. The first meal in Jeju was so important, and I planned to eat gackgaegi soup. I choose appaengdi restaurant since it was popular with local residents. It took ten minutes from the airport.

I ordered gackgaegi soup, mell soup and gackgaegi boiled in spiced soy sauce, and started to eat. Two local people had a meal at the next table. Gackgaegi had a similar appearance and taste with
mackerel. Gackgaegi was so fresh, and I got warm by the soup with winter grown cabbage and garlic.

Grilled Mackerel, which was the side dish of the restaurant, was awesome and Kimchi was also delicious.

Mell is a kind of anchovy. It is a base material of salted mell served in Jeju restaurant. If an anchovy is not fresh, it really stinks. But large mell was so delicious that I felt I became healthier.

Aljakjji Seashore (Address: The coastal route teu 60, Jeju-si, Jeju)
I visited aljakjji seashore after breakfast. Even though it is not a popular tourist attraction, it is beautiful seashore. It was fulled with pebbles, created by erosion for thousands of years. It is the west seashore of Jeju island. So I am sure that it would make wonderful picture when the sky is beautifully colored by the setting sun.

Dalja Cafeteria (Address: Gueom-ri, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do)
I drove coastal road toward aewal ocean beach, and I wanted to have a cup of coffee. When “Dalja cafeteria” caught my eyes, I entered it without hesitation. Real bicycle stood in front of cafeteria, and I could see the aewl beach through the whole glass. I loved it. Many tourists come to here on a whim, being taken by fabulous cafeteria.
The name of cafeteria was come from “a bicycle running along the sea shore”. If you like the sea of aewal, you should take up your quarters.

It is a place to make coffee. Colorful tiles make pleasant atmosphere. The word indicates staff members put two shot of coffee in a cup of coffee. I was so happy with that. The taste was wonderful, too.
