I used public trasportation during the trip to Jinhae(Changwon). The ticket for KTX was fully booked due to the naval port festival, so I had to use Mugunghwa-ho. I went to Samnangjin Station, and then headed to Changwonjungang Station by train. But I enjoyed the trip with Mugunghwa-ho rather than speedy train. I departed at 5 a.m. and arrived at Changwonjungang Station at 11 a.m.. Anyways, I wanted to have a meal at first!

There was no person at the train station! That would be the charm of a train trip at dawn. Even though it is warm at midday, it is chill at dawn. Anyways, I always like the trip in the morning.

I can't appreciate the scenery outside the window when I drive a car. But I can enjoy beautiful scenery when I took a trip by train. I love it. I usually took a trip by car to save my time, but I will use a train hereafter. I can't go to many places at once, though.

I waited for 20 minutes for a transfer in Samnangjin Station. It was nice to look around the old train station. Mugunghwa-ho from Gyeonggi-do to Jinhaejungang Station was available, too. But it departed about two hours later, so I chose it. Maybe I can see a lot of things as I go earlier, huh?

This is a restaurant near Gyeongnam provincial government building right below Changwonjungang Station. I have a know-how to find a must-go restaurant during the trip. Must-go restaurants around the country have in common. They are usually located near public offices. There are a number of restaurants in front of Gyeongnam provincial government building. You can enjoy delicious meal when you find a restaurant with many guests and cars. I found that restaurant right away. I could hear the sound of people in front of “Dolsotbap(Hot Pot Rice) Soo”, so I entered it without hesitation.

This is a common Korean restaurant. Most guests were having dolsotbap, so I ordered it, too. It costs 8,000 won. You should order foods at least for two people.

Buchu jeon(Leek Pancake) has been served for an appetizer. Fresh buchu jeon was warm and crispy. We were so busy to have it.

Dolsotbap and other side dishes have been served the next. We were served with the newly-cooked rice and 14 side dishes like jjigae, fish, meat and vegetables. All of them were fresh, fragrant and nicely presented.

Fresh foods were so warm and moist. I liked them. The taste was mild and clean. They must have been made of fresh ingredients. All side dishes are common, but delicious and friendly.

The rice is freshly made of various grains, too. So you should wait for 15 minutes after making an order.

The rice was tasted like that my mother made in my childhood. It was properly cooked and glossy. It was really nice.

Nurungji(crust of overcooked rice) would be the best advantage of dolsotbap. You can make it after pouring the water into the rice pot. The combination of aromatic nurungji and kimchi is out of this world!
“Dolsotbap(Hot Pot Rice) Soo” doesn't have special menus. It just serves a common meal. However, the fresh foods made of fine ingredients are so nice. Foods are nicely presented and plentiful. I like it. You can enjoy home-made food here.
