I ate rice with fish stew as breakfast rather that going the the pension restaurant which serves free breakfast because the owner of the restaurant I visited yesterday gave some side dishes and the ingredients for fish stew.

The Maeuntang(fish stew) tasted great just like the warm heart of the restaurant owner.

NamHae's best scenery, SoChi pension 소치펜션

Finishing the red wine which I've been drinking since the first day in the morning, I decided to visit DaRaeng-i town again that moved my heart.

It's because I wanted to enjoy a cup of coffee in a high quality café with ease while looking at the stunning landscape of DaRaeng-i town.

The sight of the boundless ocean, with vast rice field of DaRaeng-i town beside it, the turf with a cup of coffee, all these elements were a piece of art. I recommend you to reserve and lodge at this place to the number on the picture below. It is known to be 80000 won per day.

Even if it was still early in the morning (7am), the barista brewed me a cup of delicious Americano.

I was able to disregard the after taste of fish stew with the Americano while enjoying the grand view of NamHae Ocean. I really think that coffee is a necessity after a fish cuisine.

The TV drama “Saving Mrs. Go BongShil" was filming here. We can also see that the drama PDs known that this is the best place in NamHae to stay and drink a cup of coffee while enjoying the view.

The DaRaeng-i field and the rape blossoms were very lovely under the soft morning sun.

Abolished school of DaRaeng-i town 다랭이마을 폐교

While drinking the coffee that the owner of SoChi pension brewed, I listened to the story about a school that was placed in this place long time ago.

It is known to be existing even after it was closed when another better grade school came in, resulting it to be relocated to somewhere else, and just leaving the elderly here.

The feeling that the abolished school gave was like “turning the pages of past memories". That's why It is special.

Chungnyeolsa Shrine 충렬사

This popular place is where the body of General Yi SunShin was placed temporarily.

When Yi SunShin sacrificed during the war of NoRyang offshore at November 19, 1598, it was first place in this place then moved to Chungnam Asan's Hyeonchungsan shrine. Currently, the burial mound of the family shrine is the only thing left.

Just infront of this place, you'll be able to see the dazzling view along with the NamHae Bridge. The ancestral rites of admiral Yi SunShin is known to be celebrated here every year.

Tasting the best cold raw fish soup in Busan Sushi Place 부산횟집

The must try recommended place by the owner of the pension was the Busan Sushi Place located just beside the NamHae bridge.

The cold raw fish soup's price is 15000 won and it comes out with either rice or buckwheat noodles but if you choose rice, hot and spicy fish stew will be given if ordered. The fish stew contained soft homemade tofu and head of the fish which made it really tasty.

Outside at the inner window of the sushi restaurant, the NamHae Bridge lies.

The taste of this famous place was superb indeed, as well as the gentle attitude of the guide, even when we had to change our order, the true value was shown.

The side dishes which came along with the main were really organized and had a neat taste. Just like other restaurants in NamHae, the seasoned vegetables had a very nice aroma which also tasted certainly pleasant.

The characteristic of the cold raw fish soup was the amount of sea cucumbers added which gave and contributed to the crunchy chewing taste of it. The slush like broth presents deep sweet flavors as if some numbers of crushed fruits were added. I think it would make one more emotional and touched when taken during a hot summer.

NamHae Bridge 남해대교

Lastly, I will introduce to you an interesting story related to NamHae Bridge.

This bridge was completed on June 22, 1973. President Park JungHee walked the bridge and celebrated. At the riverside under the bridge, crowds were gathering.

To walk by the bridge, the opening celebration looked like a starting place of an overcrowded marathon. During this period, the NamHae Bridge was the biggest suspension bridge in the east.

The giant bridge was made as a collaboration of domestic people and the Japanese, and the main part of the suspension bridge, the wires, were imported from foreign countries.

As it was completed, it received the penalty of popularity. Tourism was increased by ten times and because of the bridge, the people who used to farm and catch Atka Macherel by the shore started entering to tourism businesses.

Income started to rise naturally and the “lonely" island started to gain vigor. In 1993, they used to take bathing suit photos of Miss Korea models in NamHae Bridge.

Lim MiSook who had “Jin" during that time used to have interviews saying that “I sometimes caught cold while shooting at the NamHae Bridge."

Now, I have to put an end to NamHae Bridge and turn to Hadong and go back to Seoul.

Rain may poured at the first day but during the second day, I would like to thank the enjoyable moments I had looking at rape flowers under the clear sky and bright sunlight, and also thank the restaurants I visited which gave me the chance to have best taste experiences.

And as now, I will cross this Bridge and make my way back home.
