Lake Park
Roads of flowers covering the sky with bright pink blossoms, the metasequoia road where you can take a nice stroll, and the natural lake with elegant lotuses in summer — it is fun just looking for spectacles and attractions hidden in various parts of the park. It is a recreation area well loved by not only Goyang citizens but everyone in Korea. It is also suitable for children to learn about nature and ecology as you can encounter various water animals and plants including over 180 types of plants, 30 types of fish, and 26 types of insects. In particular, the 4.7km bike path and 7.5km trail circling the lake are popular among bike riders and joggers. The lake is divided into two parts around Dalmaji Island in the middle of the lake. The north retains its original state as a natural lake, while the south is an artificial lake featuring an artificial waterfall and plaza.
