Goyang Ecological Park
It is the first park in Goyang based on a new concept related to the theme of ecology, transforming a discarded vacant land in the middle of the city into an ecological space where people live in harmony with nature. Visit this park if you are curious about what kinds of animals and plants live in Korea. You can see a variety of animals and plants in seasonal ecological environments. You can also see a cluster of gingko trees as you stroll along the metasequoia trail. If you carefully stoop down at the bird observatory next to it, you can sneak a look at resident and migratory birds playing by the pond. The wild flower observation center located in the middle of the park presents all kinds of Korean native wild flowers. You can also enter the bo tree tunnel to take photos and listen to the eco commentator’s detailed explanations. To secure stability of the ecosystem, the number of visitors is limited to 150 a day. You can visit the park after making a reservation on the website.
