Jjukumi(short arm octopus) is a low-calorie food ingredient rich in taurine that is good for fatigue recovery and it tastes best in Spring. Stir-fried jjukumi with spicy sauce is widely loved. Near Cheonho Station on Line 8, there is a jjukumi alley where this webfoot octopus restaurant is gathered and Dokdo Jjukumi was the first among them.

Even though it was daytime, the restaurant was already noisy. I saw some are eating jjukumi with alcohol.

Here's the menu. It's all for at least 2 people, so you have to visit this restaurant with someone.

My favorite thing here was that buttered corn. It's included in the basic settings and they refill it from time to time. That earthen pot next to it is nurungji(scorched rice). It tastes mysterious and goes well with stir-fried jjukumi.

I ordered flying fish roe rice for my child but they served it for free. It has rich amount of flying fish roe. The combination of pickled radish and popping flying fish roe gives me a taste of sweet and salty. My kid also had it very deliciously.

I ordered assorted. A combination of jjukumi, pork belly, and shrimp.

Stir-fry it on a sheet of steel with a flamboyant skill. The servers are stir-frying it, so you can just wait until it's cooked. It tastes better with the skill of an expert.

Steamed eggs are good to have with spicy food.

Sesame leaves, radish slices(jjukumi is hot, so it also buffers. Make sure to put it in), then put the jjukumi, flying fish roe, the special sauce, and the garlic dipped in ssamjang. The sesame leaf scent is spread fist, the jjukumi is spicy, sweet, chewy and the flying fish roe pops then there's a kick of spicy garlic. The layers of taste pile up and a festival is held in my mouth.

Lastly, stir-fried rice. It completes all the stir-fried dishes. Especially, we can't finish stir-fried jjukumi without it. Even if you make up your mind not to have it, once you see frying rice at the next table, it's game over. Let's just consider as it basically comes together.
