Ganworam Hermitage

It is a hermitage in the small island, Ganwoldo-ri, Buseok-myeon, Seosan-si. People say Mangongdaesa restored it in 1914 in the site of Muhaksa temple built by Muhakdaesa in the late Goryo dynasty period. And he called it Ganworam hermitage. It is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery like Ganwoldo island, Namdang-ri and Anmyeondo island. It looks like a blossoming lotus over clouds. This hermitage has the ebb and flow a day. So it turns to small island in the ebb tide, and a path in the flow tide.

You can see both the sunset and sunrise here. In particular, the sunset beyond Anmyeondo island is so amazing.
