Chungju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, is the center of South Korea. It takes an hour from Seoul, and can be approached within two hours from all regions over the country. It is transportation hub and tourist attraction for rich water resources. It is the birthplace of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, so it is a recently popular area. In addition, it is the home of Taekkyon, which has held world martial art festival for eight years.

In this Chungju Travel, I increased importance of experience both for adults and children. I will introduce numerous places for sightseeing and eating out, so you can make meaningful memories with your family. I hope you enjoy wonderful travel for one night two days.

A loaf of bread is better than the song of many birds! So I ate food for the first course of Chungju Travel. This is Marina Center, which is next to the international boat race course in Tangeum Lake. Overlooking wonderful lake, I cut my steak. It was so nice. It would be wonderful meal when you eat steak, see beautiful scenery and drink wine. The price is also reasonable.

What a distinctive building! It seems that it was motivated by boat race course. Or, it looks an airplane.

As the whole one side of the restaurant overlooks the international boat race course, the scenery is perfect. It is certain that there is always fabulous restaurant nearby a lake. And surely, it is more tasty.

Chungju is famous for omija and apple. I need to have some steak with omija wine today!

If you order steak in BFL Steakhouse, you can use a salad bar without charge. Not only fresh salad, baked vegetables, bread, but also you can enjoy various dishes like soup, spatchcock and fried rice. In addition, you can enjoy full course from coffee, cold beverage, fruits to bakery after

a meal.

Since it specializes steak, many dishes are mainly made from pork, beef and mutton. “Pork neck steak” is popular and price-reasonable. That is the picture above. It costs 18,900won for Saturday lunch. It costs 14,900won on weekday. A salad bar costs 14,000won on weekend, so it looks not bad to order a plate of steak.

I was served some pork neck, sweet and sour sauce with vegetables and pineapple. It may look small, but it was big-sized as meat was thick. A little amount of food seems better, since you can use a salad bar without charge.

The pork neck was grilled and did not smell. So it was not greasy, but light. It was little tough, though, as pork needs to be well-done. You may not imagine rare pork steak with blood, right?

Not ordering steak, you can only use a salad bar in BFL steakhouse. Therefore, there were many dishes for meal like chicken and fried rice. Since I really love chicken, I put much of them on my dish. I didn't realize the fact at that time, but I noticed it, later. Haha.

I ate port neck with some salad, and seasoned chicken, too. Food was fresh, and well seasoned.

There should be red wine for meat, right? Interestingly, I had a meal with omija wine here. It was more sweet and sour than normal wine and went well with pork. The price is 6,000won.

Even though I was full, I must have dessert! I I rinsed out my mouth with some fresh fruits.

The restaurant is located right next to the international boat race course in Tangeumho lake, so you can enjoy a meal while watching wonderful scenery. Pork neck was a little bit tough, but I was satisfied with the salad bar. Omija wine went well with meat, too. If you plan to look around boat race course, I will recommend BFL Steakhouse.
