Haengjusanseong Eel Village
It is a food street with specialties representing Goyang. Up until the 1970s, elvers and freshwater eels were quite often caught near Haengjusanseong Fortress downstream from the Hangang River. Restaurants that offer delicious grilled eels began to appear one by one around the Haengjusanseong Fortress, which had been a popular honeymoon spot up until the 1980s. Now the entire village, divided into Haengjunae-dong and Haengjuoe-dong around Haengjusanseong Fortress, has transformed into a food village.
