Jagulsan Mountain
Uiryeong is called to the center of Gyeongsangnam-do. Jagulsan mountain is selected to a guardian mountain in the region. You can see colorful and fragrant flower road, and forest full of beautiful trees. Moreover, there are various mountain climbing courses so that tourist can choose one.

Hanusan Mountain
The combination of majestic mountain and oddly formed rocks and strangely shaped stones is awesome. Deep mountain and dense forest look cool. It was called to “Chilbisan mountain” since it looks like the cold rain in winter. The name has changed to “han(cold)” and “woo(rain)” in Chinese characters. In particular, the spring of Hanusan Mountain is amazing. Numerous royal azaleas turns the whole mountain to red.

Ilbungsa Temple
Ilbungsa temple, which was registered in the Guinness Book of Records, is the oldest cave Buddhist sanctum all around the world. Seongdeogam, which was built by monk Hyecho in 727, was the forerunner of Ilbungsa temple. Various historical relics like Nabanjonja,Yakssayeoraebul, Samcheonbul, Jijangjeon Hall with Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and 80 Jinsin sari of Ilbung Buddhist priest of eminent virtue are mysterious and precious.

Namsan mountain is located in the place which is 600 meters far from Uiryeongcheon to Mancheon-ri. You can enjoy taking a stroll after passing by Namsan sports park. You can also enjoy fresh green leaves.
Manggaetteok Rice Cake
Manggaetteok Rice Cake is originated from Uiryeong. To make it, you should put sweet bean jam in glutinous rice kneading, and wrap it with fresh Manggae leaves. And then steam it in the steamer. The rice cake is chewy, sweet and sour.
