I
moved from Hamyang to Namwon at night. And I decided to stay at a
cost-reasonable hotel, “Maum Hotel”. You can reach here after
passing Chunhyanggyo Bridge in front of Gwanghalluwon Garden, and
walking for 100 meters from sightseeing pots intersection. It takes
just five minutes from Gwanghalluwon Garden. Gwanghalluwon Garden is
free at night. So I visited here to take a picture. There are
Chunhyang Theme Park, Namwon Aircraft & Space Observatory and
Namwon National Gugak Center. So you'd better stay at an
accommodation around here. You can also stay at Kensington resort or
motel.

I read some writings written by hotel users before coming in. And I knew that there is so distinctive and funny service. Okay, here we go!

It is not a common hotel. Beer and tobacco are sold in the hotel lobby. You don't need to go outside at night to buy beer! The hotel has guest rooms, guest house, glamping ground and even jjimjilbang! I am confused what is the concept of the accommodation. :-)

Wow! What is this? “Maum Moter Show” is being hold at the lobby. This car would be BMW Rover mini, 40 years limited edition. I know that there are only three BMW Rover minis in Korea. I heard that Ferrari 348 is displayed sometimes. Oh, you can go down the slide instead of elevator on the second floor. Hahaha. It is so interesting.

BMW Rover mini is operable. You can take a seat and take a picture. People those who are so interested with cars should look around the show at the lobby! But the window of the car is not automatic.

There is a wider variety of entertainment on the first floor. All of them are free to hotel guests. There are 5-6 Karaoke rooms. Why don't you enjoy Karaoke with beer?

There are billiard-room and table tennis room, too. It is the first time that I see these entertainments at hotel. What a curious concept!

There are two game machines with 500 games in front of the convenience store. I am going to play galaga and bubble bubble.

The hotel is equipped with small zoo outside. It is raining so deer went inside. Only duck and goat are playing outside. You can feed the animals. Anyways, is this a hotel? Really?

There is a glamping ground at the corner of the hotel. It is equipped with refrigerator and TV. You can enjoy barbecues at night. I really wonder what this hotel is. :-)

Now, let's go to the guest room. Guest rooms are on the second and the third floor. There are standard room and deluxe room. Sauna and guest house are located one side.

I made a reservation for deluxe double room as I was afraid of the size of standard room. The cost was reasonable. It is almost the same with that of common motels.

Even though it is not a high quality, there are a lot of appliances like TV and computer. The bedding is clean and soft.

The room is equipped with amenities like a dressing gown, toothbrush and razor. There are adult products, too. But I will not show you them in the picture. And it is convenient to search the tourist spot on Internet at night thanks to the high speed computer. Wifi is also perfect!

The hotel is equipped with amenities of model. There are mineral water and two drink cans. But I don't drink sweet beverages.

There is no bidet, but the toilet is quite wide and clean. I can take a rest in the bathtub at night. I like it. Many hotels are not equipped with bathtub these days.

I walked around the downtown of Namwon to have dinner. But most restaurants were closed after 8 p.m. That is crazy! So I bought some chickens and ate them in the hotel. Anyways, that was interesting. Beer is so delicious!

The breakfast has been served the next day. There were bread, coffee at the lobby and milk and juice in the refrigerator. You can toast bread for breakfast. The services are included in the accommodation fee. Even though hotel guests are not so high-class, you can enjoy reasonable price and special service. If you want to stay at fine guest room, I recommend Kensington resort right next to Maum Hotel.
