First held in 2012 by the Soorim Cultural Foundation, the Bukchon Music Festival aims to expand the base of cultural art and supports young and promising artists. The festival showcases creative music and performances across various genres such as traditional Korean music, jazz, indie, and more. The concerts and performances are held at small, unique spaces and stages in quiet alleys, where visitors can experience the genuine local culture of the beautiful hanok village of Bukchon.
