The Daejeon International Food & Wine Festival takes place every year at the Daejeon Convention Center, KOTRA Exhibition Center in Daejeon (KOTREX), EXPO Hanbit Plaza and surrounding areas. The festival offers cultural events under the theme of “Your new gateway to the wine market in Korea and Asia.” Showcasing variety of imported wines, domestically produced wines and liquors in almost 330 stalls and booths, the event draws many experts, wine lovers and tourists to the city of Daejeon every year.
Main events include the World Wine Exhibition, Traditional Wine Exhibition and Sampling, wine and food pairings exhibition, and Wine Art Exhibition. In addition, various performances like jazz and semi-classical concerts are scheduled to be held as sideline events.
