Hambaeksan is a 1,572m mountain located in Gangwon-do Province between Jeongseon County and Taebaek City. Tourists flock here to enjoy picturesque sunrise views of the East Coast and the mountain's winter scenery. During the warm months, wildflowers blanket the mountainsides, creating stunningly beautiful scenes. The Gohan Hambaeksan Wildflower Festival takes place every year and features wildflower themed cultural programs such as a photo exhibition, pictorial poem exhibition, and concerts.
