Haman-gun is located in the middle of Gyeongsangnam-do, Korea. It is adjacent to Uichang-gu, Changwon-si to the east, and Jinju-si to the west. It is also adjacent to Masanhappo-gu and MasanHoiwon-gu, Changwon-si to the south, and Uiryeong-gun and Changnyeong-gun to the north. The county seat is Gaya-eup. Ipgok Reservoir
The reservoir was created to use water for agricultural purpose in Japanese colonial era. It is the largest reservoir of Haman today. It looks like as if a snake crawled. It is the representative vacation spot with a sports park and woods bathing place.

Bangeosan Mountain
You can overlook Jirisan mountain, Gayahan of Hapcheon, Jeoksan of Goseong and Hambaeksan mountain of Changnyeong from the top. It is quite low mountain with an altitude of 530 meters, but you can feel refreshingness enough.

Dohang·Malsalli Ancient Tombs
It was the capital of Ara Gaya. It has cherished the glorious civilization of Gaya. The area is 140,000 pyeong. 100 large ancient tombs, which might be those of Kings, form a row in the high place. There are 1,000 small ancient tombs below. Recently, horse armor has been excavated in Magapchong, which is the same with the painting of ancient tomb mural, Goguryeo. It has become more popular as No.8 ancient tomb where five human bones were discovered.

Yueyang Tower
It is the pavilion in the cliff, the northern part of Akyang village. It was built in 1857. The scenery of flowing Namgang river, embankment and wide field of Beopsu-myeon is amazing. The pop song, “The Maiden boatman” was originated from the region.

“The Maiden boatman” sings the memory in Yueyang tower. The lyrics describe two women who row instead of their brother. You would imagine the beautiful scenery of Akyang dock and two sad maiden boatman.
