Mural paintings are popular in old backstreets in Korea. There’s one in Songwol-dong, Incheon, decorated with a theme of fairy story among many mural painting villages. Currently, this is more glamorous and fantastic atmosphere than regular mural painting villages so it seems to be loved by females because they look good in photos.
The entrance to the village is splendidly decorated that it made me excited like I’m going to an amusement park. 
There are various souvenir shops at the entrance. They’re not just same things made in the factory but each one of them has characteristics and made by artists.
It’s an old village but it looks so lively, thanks to fairy tale theme.
This is the map of village. Not only there’s straight road from the entrance, there are other alleys decorated with fairy tales on both sides so you shouldn’t miss anything.
First alley we visited has a theme of The Wizard of Oz. It’s a brilliant idea to make a woodcutter with iron pipes installed on the walls.
This is the most glamorous place in this village. It has Cinderella, the Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. 
The main scenes of Cinderella have been reappeared here. There’s a pumpkin carriage and crystal shoes.
Especially there were many women taking pictures with a selfie stick. Many of them were screaming “wow” so I think this is a must-visit spot in this village. 
Many of friends, families and lovers left messages here. Especially, this one is popular among lovers probably because it’s a story about a princess and a prince. I took a closer look and their lovely promises made me smile. 
You can see paintings everywhere so you’re going to have to get inside the alleys as well.
You get to see these sceneries in old town. I used to leave my shoes outside because there’s no place inside the house when I was young like this and here, there shoes were outside under the roof not to get wet in the rain. It’s kinda uncomfortable to live in this kind of house but they reminded me of my mom’s blue sleepers when I was young. 
You can see what this is, right? It’s Genie in a magic lamp in Aladin. Kids, in particular, loved to take pictures here.
When you go up and down the stairs and see the paintings, your legs will get hurt and hungry as well. And there’s a Donghwamaeul(Fairy tale village) Café for you to take a rest a while. They have warm drinks and snacks. 
And there’s the candy house in Hensel and Gretel. You can see that donuts, ice creams and candies are attached to the house. It was fun to take pictures like I was eating those candies.
I wanted to take a picture with the calf putting arms around each other but the bench looked so cold that I had to look at it. Now that I look at it, it looks so colorful that makes me regret.
There’s a rainbow in the fairy tale as well. I walked up the rainbow steps and there was another painting in another fairy tale along with flower stairs.
This house would’ve looked so old if it wasn’t decorated but this one turned into wonderland. I really wanted to get inside.
They didn’t miss even a single streetlamp and painted it as cute characters. It’s a really nice alley.
A girl flying the blue sky on a flower cane was so cute. While I was looking around, it reminded me of my childhood that I took pictures like a kid and it made me feel young, which is a special experience.
