Ganggyeong-eup is located in the southern region of Nonsan-si. The administrative district of the western area is Geumgang river and Buyeo-gun. That of the southern area is Mangseong-myeon, Iksan-si, Jeonbuk. Ganggyeong-eup is the gateway of Honam and Hoseo. Ganggyeong-eup shows off the beautiful natural scenery, and has Ongnyeobong Peak, Geumgang river and Ganggyeong plain. Some people were waiting the train, but others were just watching TV. They were watching American pro baseball game.
Ganggyeong Station was full of landscape paintings and calligraphic works. All of them looked great, but I thought they were overpainted. :-)
A restaurant was located in front of the station. But it was waiting for being sold.
I wanted to take a break while having ice flakes with syrup. I visited coffee shop named “rich beans” right in front of Ganggyeong Station. It only costs 7,000 won to eat ice flakes with syrup. It is much cheaper than that of Seoul. I had it on the second floor while overlooking the street in front of the station.
I liked the flowers nearby street during the trip to Ganggyeong. I felt like I was welcomed by Golden-Wave and cosmos.
