I met dense bamboo forest in the road to Imnijeong. I thought a lot of classical scholars passed this road in the past.
Imnijeong is No. 67 Chungcheongnam-do tangible cultural asset. It is located on the hill which overlooks Geumgang river. When you reach Imnijeong, you can see the upstream of Geumgang river and Ganggyeng port that was the important spot of water transportation.
Imnijeong was built by Kim Jang-saeng in 1626 to teach students after he went back to his countryside. He named Imnijeong after “the Analects[Discourses] of Confucius”.
There is Jukrim Seowon built by Kim Jang-saeng on the eastern side of the pavilion. He was the leader of Giho school, and made big contribution to politics and economy besides studies. Now Imnijeong is owned by Ganggyeong Confucian scholars. [Naver encyclopedia] Imnijeong

Imnijeong is a tiny pavilion. But its scenery is out of this world. I think it is the best place to study and have a discussion.

Sunlight came through toenmaru(narrow wooden porch running along the outside of a room) of Imnijeong.
I went back from Imnijeong. I could see Jukrim Seowon between bamboo trees.
